4WD Kakadu Tour - Camping

- Duration: 3 Days (approx.)
- Product code: 13518
Dive into the heart of the Top End on this unforgettable 3-day 4WD Kakadu adventure. Cruise through wildlife-filled billabongs, discover ancient Aboriginal rock art, swim beneath towering waterfalls, and camp under the stars in the heart of Kakadu National Park.
Day 1 begins with pickup from Darwin before travelling towards Kakadu National Park. Cruise Corroboree Billabong to spot crocodiles and birdlife, then continue into Kakadu to explore the world-famous Ubirr rock art site and lookout with sweeping views across the floodplains into Arnhem Land. In the evening, settle into your safari camp at Mardugal Billabong and relax around the campfire after dinner.
Day 2 is all about adventure. Travel by 4WD to the spectacular Jim Jim Falls (or Yurmikmik region and Motor Car Falls, if Jim Jim Falls is closed), where a walk through the gorge leads to the plunge pool for a refreshing swim. Later, visit Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock) to discover ancient Dreamtime stories and Indigenous rock art before hiking to Gunwhardewharde Lookout for panoramic views across Kakadu.
Day 3 starts with a visit to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where a short hike leads to a pristine natural swimming hole. Continue south to Gunlom Falls to swim in the famous natural infinity pools overlooking Kakadu’s escarpment country before returning to Darwin in the evening.
